Lords Ben Kelley Will Miss Season Tuesday, June 12th, 1956 A blow for Ben Kelley today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7 months with ligament damage in his elbow. Kelley suffered the injury throwing the ball. Although officials from the Baltimore Lords are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Kelley's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season Kelley is batting .319 with 37 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 15 times and has 32 runs batted in. |
