San Diego-Houston Announce Swap Monday, March 22nd , 1976 The San Diego Captains have parted ways with 23-year old RHP Angel Colon, 25-year old 3B Paul Parkyn, and a 3rd round draft pick in a trade with the Houston Drillers for 24-year old LHP Jeff Ferguson. Captains general manager Mack confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. His career numbers show Parkyn is currently carrying a .293 lifetime batting average with 2 home runs and 30 RBIs. The 24-year-old Ferguson has made 171 appearances, crafted a 27-13 record, pitched 271 innings and fanned 199. He has 22 saves and a lifetime 2.32 ERA. |
