Los Angeles-Chicago Trade: Plancarte for Carter Tuesday, April 12th , 1966 The Los Angeles Pobladores have finalized a deal that will send 35-year old RHP Larry Eustace, 35-year old 1B Ricky Plancarte, and 20-year old C Mike Stall to Chicago for 18-year old CF Bob Carter. Minor details still need to be worked out before the trade becomes official, but the players involved are expected to be with their new clubs soon. In 1343 career games Plancarte has hit .256 with 1061 hits, 233 home runs, 672 RBIs and scored 638 runs. |
