Red-Hot Rampage Reaps ABL Reward Monday, June 23rd , 1958 This week Dwight Reppe, right fielder for the Boston Terriers, hit his way to the American Baseball League Player of the Week Award. Reppe put on a hitting clinic with a .333 average as he belted and battered ABL pitchers for 8 hits in 24 at-bats, 5 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 6 runs. So far on the season Reppe is hitting .268 with 21 home runs, 46 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 56 hits and played in 59 games. |
