Generals Lose Calise for Season Friday, April 9th , 1976 Don Calise of the Generals just might have to call it quits for the season. The 30-year-old Atlanta left fielder received a possible season-ending injury against the Seattle Emeralds recently at Puget Field. Calise suffered a broken kneecap while running the bases. The Generals medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 9 months. |
