Philadelphia Quakers starter Tom Reid was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Washington Eagles, 4-1. Reid picked up the win for Philadelphia, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 7-5. Bill Smith recorded his 2nd save for Philadelphia.
