Gonzales Lifts Lords to 8-1 Win
The Baltimore Lords downed the New York Empires, 8-1. The hitting star was shortstop Alvaro Gonzales. Gonzales was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Lords. Duane Siudzinski got the win, improving to 4-5. He worked 7 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The win gives Baltimore a season record of 47-33.
