Terriers Deal Lords 4-1 Defeat
|
Jimmy Trent never let Baltimore get something going. The Boston left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Terriers to a 4-1 win. Trent picked up the win for Boston, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. The win puts Boston at 32-50.
With Boston leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Trent hit a run-scoring single off Baltimore hurler Bart Dunsley. It was the 2nd hit of the season for Trent and put his team ahead, 2-0.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Terriers manager Phil Palapa. "This one was nice to get."
