Seattle Makes Los Angeles 6-1 Losers
|
Seattle turned a good effort from starter John Walker into a win over the Los Angeles Pobladores at San Vicente Park. The Emeralds won the game, 6-1. Seattle raised its record to 44-39 with the win.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Charlie Hall? The Seattle second baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Emeralds on top, 1-0. For the game, Hall had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Hall.
