Left-hander Dan Crumm mesmerized the Twin Cities Northmen while leading the Toronto Hurons to a 7-0 victory. Toronto now sits at 41-53, while Twin Cities falls to 41-49.

Pedro Barrera had a big bases-clearing triple for the Hurons in the bottom of the first inning. With Toronto leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Gary Forgette, who finished 4th in the NBL in saves with 21 in 1969, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hurons ahead, 4-0.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Barrera, "one at-bat at a time."
