Emeralds Suffer 9-0 Drubbing from Seagulls
|
Today was Richie Kolb's turn in the rotation for the San Francisco Seagulls and he made the most of it, shutting out the Seattle Emeralds on 2 hits.
The 25-year-old right-hander led the Seagulls to an easy 9-0 victory, allowing 5 walks and tallying 4 strikeouts.
"I hope we miss him next time," Seattle manager Mark Velez said. "Kolb certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
