Drillers Lose to Seagulls in Walk-Off
The San Francisco Seagulls picked up a win at Mission Field, knocking off the Houston Drillers, 5-4, in 14 innings. On the mound for San Francisco was right-hander Arturo Lopez. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. San Francisco reliever Arnie Keilman got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Larry Clarke was tagged with the loss. The loss lowers the Houston record to 6-3.

The Seagulls got a clutch hit from second baseman Tom Kendall. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Seagulls.

"What a buzz," said Kendall after it was over.
