Lords Drop Hurons, 4-3
|
Baltimore starter Larry Diego had a strong outing against the Toronto Hurons at Dominion Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Diego picked up the win for Baltimore, going 6 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 13-4. The win puts Baltimore at 61-44 this season.
Baltimore used the timely hitting of Jim Pavlik to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Lords on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Diego called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
