Hall Pitches Northmen to 8-0 Win
|
Ben Hall kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Twin Cities Northmen were all smiles after winning, 8-0, against the Toronto Hurons at Twin Cities Stadium. The right-handed Hall gave up no runs in his start, permitted 6 hits, and tallied 9 strikeouts.
"If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Hall said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
On the year, Hall has worked 161.2 innings with 104 strikeouts en route to a 8-5 record and 2.39 ERA.
