Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Hurons
Toronto Park was host to some intense drama.

The Toronto Hurons topped the Chicago Hawks by a score of 9-8. Leading the way was second baseman Alan Grown. Grown was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times for the Hurons. Toronto pitcher Dick Hitesman got the win, upping his record to 3-3. Rick Siesel got the loss.

The Hurons procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Jim Long Jr.. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"It feels good to get this one," Grown told the Toronto Chronicle.

At 75-80, Toronto is in 4th place in the American Baseball League Eastern Division.
