Pitcher Art Stager was sensational for the Dallas Wranglers in his team's 4-1 triumph over the San Francisco Seagulls. Stager earned the win. Frank Dunn recorded the save, making him 27 for 30. The Wranglers have now won 4 straight.

Dallas took advantage of an error in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Mel Gaines hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Wranglers in front, 2-1.

"I like the roll we're on," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
