Seagulls Earn 3-1 Road Win Over Twin Cities
The San Francisco Seagulls trumped the Twin Cities Northmen, 3-1, at Twin Cities Stadium. San Francisco first baseman Don Johnson was terrific. He went 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. Dan Wood recorded the save, making him 17 for 20. With the win, San Francisco raised its record to 68-46.

In the top of the fifth, with San Francisco trailing 1-0, the Northmen allowed the Seagulls to take the lead, 2-1, on a base hit and Twin Cities error.

Johnson called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
