In a low-scoring tilt between the New York Knickerbockers and the St. Louis Explorers, Chris Hull, who finished 3rd in the NBL in on-base percentage with .374 in 1968, was the difference-maker. The New York right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Hull picked up the win for New York, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 6-9.
