Roberts Delivers Walk-Off Win for Seagulls
Mission Field was host to some action-packed drama.

The San Francisco Seagulls topped the Los Angeles Pobladores, 4-3, in American Baseball League action at Mission Field. The standout performance belonged to San Francisco pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native Ramon Juarez. The loss drops Los Angeles to 6-8.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when San Francisco shortstop Chuck Roberts, facing Larry Seger, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Seagulls the 4-3 win.

"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Juarez.
