Baltimore Gets 4-3 Win
|
Wolverine Field was the site of a competitive game between the Detroit Wolverines and Baltimore Lords.
Baltimore pitcher Bart Dunsley had a large part in his team beating the Detroit Wolverines, 4-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Gilberto Rivera, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities.
Woodie Scheideler had a direct impact on the outcome. Scheideler contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Baltimore up, 2-1.
"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Dunsley told the Baltimore Chronicle.
The setback makes Detroit 71-67.
