Wranglers Earn 8-2 Win Versus Twin Cities
|
The Dallas Wranglers got a strong performance from pitcher Dario Perez, who stymied the Twin Cities offense en route to a win, 8-2, at Bluff Park. Perez picked up the win for Dallas, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 14-8. The first-place Wranglers have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.
Randy Paterson, who finished 5th in the ABL in doubles with 34 in 1957, chipped in for Dallas with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," Paterson said after the game.
