Knickerbockers Make It 4 In a Row with 5-2 Triumph Over Washington
|
New York rode a decent outing from starter Dave Torre to victory over the Washington Eagles. The final score was 5-2. Torre picked up the win for New York, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 9 hits. He now sports a record of 11-10. Steve Eaton, credited with the save, is now 16 for 28 in save opportunities.
