Victory Pushes Generals Record to 81-70
|
Frank Noorani, who led the ABL in saves with 28 last year, was locked in. The left-hander led the Atlanta Generals to a 5-2 win against the Dallas Wranglers at Atlantic Station Field. With the win, the Generals have a record of 81-70.
Atlanta took a 5-1 lead on Roberto Palacios's 26th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Palacios hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Dallas pitcher Frank Dunn visibly frustrated.
"I really like what we did out there today," Palacios said after the game.
