Seagulls Score Late, Topple Wranglers, 2-1
The San Francisco Seagulls scored a tight 2-1 win versus the Dallas Wranglers at Mission Field. San Francisco pitcher Reggie Wright held his own in the contest. The win belongs to Scot Benjamin in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Barry Gilmore took the loss for Dallas. The Seagulls bumped their record to 89-66 with this win.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With San Francisco trailing 1-0, Scott Wagner hit a cutter from Barry Gilmore to left for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Seagulls had a walk-off win.

"Every loss hurts," said Dallas manager William Albrecht. "But this was a tough one."
