The Toronto Hurons beat the Montreal Habitants, 8-5, at Dominion Field. The Hurons got a fine performance from center fielder Jorge Luna, who went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Toronto starter Joe Scott was credited with the win after throwing 94 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 6-10. Toronto is 74-86 and Montreal, with the loss, 78-82.
