Bluebirds Spill Industrials, 4-1
|
Brooklyn starter Tom Keller put a stranglehold on the Pittsburgh offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Bluebirds to a 4-1 win. The Industrials fall to 7-11.
Brooklyn used the bat of Dave Tislow to capture the win. The second baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bluebirds ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Keller told the Brooklyn Times.
