Already down in the Divisional Round, the Los Angeles Pobladores put on their best show, beating the San Francisco Seagulls by a final score of 5-0. Dave Wynn was special. He threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball. Los Angeles now trails San Francisco 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.
Wynn, who was born in Peachtree City, Georgia, threw 97 pitches over 9 innings, while allowing no runs.
"Dave had good arm action, good stuff," said Los Angeles manager Alex Wobbema.
