Raucous Seton Hill Stadium Crowd Propels Lords to 3-1 Victory; Series Tied at 1

The Baltimore Lords defeated the San Francisco Seagulls, 3-1, in Game 2 of the Divisional Round. Doing his part was starter Dan Valenti, who threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The win moves Baltimore into a 1-1 tie with San Francisco in the series.
Valenti confounded San Francisco hitters. Over 8 innings, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Valenti said.
Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at Mission Field in San Francisco.
