Cleveland Win Evens Series at 3
The Cleveland Bobcats and the Denver Burros will take the Divisional Round to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation at Gates Crescent Park, the Bobcats beat the Burros, 5-3, in extra innings to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Cleveland right-hander Rick Tomlinson had a standout performance. He threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball.

Benito Olivas had a key at-bat in the top of the 12th. With the bases empty, he hit a double. It helped send Cleveland to the win.

"I felt good up there," said Olivas. "I saw the ball well."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Gates Crescent Park in Denver.
