Seagulls Hammered by Fee, Drop Game 4 to Pobladores
The Los Angeles Pobladores knotted up the Divisional Round at San Vicente Park, thanks in large part to catcher Charlie Fee. Fee went 2-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 as he overpowered the San Francisco Seagulls, enabling Los Angeles to grab the 7-4 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Joe Roberson was 1 for 1 with a triple for Los Angeles. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Roberson had a clutch at-bat. Facing San Francisco hurler Pete Ragsdale, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Pobladores a 5-4 lead.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Fee said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at San Vicente Park in Los Angeles.
