San Francisco Nears World Series Triumph After 7-0 Win
When the games really matter, the San Francisco Seagulls put on their best show, beating the St. Louis Explorers by a final score of 7-0. Jose Barroso went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. San Francisco now leads St. Louis 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Barroso had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth to put San Francisco in front, 7-0. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run off St. Louis pitcher Ramon Sandoval.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said San Francisco manager Al Borie.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Corps of Discovery Stadium in St. Louis.
