Scott Silences Dallas Bats
|
Joe Scott never let Dallas get something going. The Toronto right-hander commanded his changeup in pitching the Hurons to a 2-0 win. Steve Persenaire recorded the save for Toronto, his 1st of the season. Dallas falls to 15-8.
Scott was in the zone all game. He frustrated Dallas hitters while giving the Hurons 6 innings of quality work. Scott threw 105 pitches, allowing no hits and getting 6 punchouts.
Scott told a Toronto Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
