The San Francisco Seagulls picked up a win at Mission Field, knocking off the Atlanta Generals, 4-1. On the mound for San Francisco was right-hander Ray Heath. He played a key role in the triumph. Heath, now 1-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing no runs. The Generals fall to 7-15.
