Getting offensive support from Wade Fields, the Houston Drillers topped the Montreal Habitants, 5-3. Fields hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Drillers. Montreal is 14-13 after the loss.

Fields had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Max Waldon, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Drillers a 5-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Fields.
