Terriers Pick Up 5-2 Win Against Twin Cities
The Boston Terriers topped the Twin Cities Northmen, 5-2, at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Boston first baseman Ralph King was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Bruce Shurtleff closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. The third-place Terriers are 20-17.

Eddie Hernandez had a big 2-run double for the Terriers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Boston leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from two-time All-Star Syed Farooqi and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Terriers ahead, 5-2.

"It was a solid team effort," said Hernandez after the game.
