Despite a great performance by Los Angeles shortstop John Fine, the Dallas Wranglers defeated the Pobladores by the score of 7-3 at San Vicente Park. Fine was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. Steve Coomes picked up the win, lifting his record to 5-3 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 4 in 6.1 innings, while yielding 3 runs. Dallas now sits at 25-17, while Los Angeles falls to 14-28.

Pat Simmons contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. His at-bat helped Dallas get the win.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Wranglers manager William Albrecht.
