Dallas picked up a win at Bluff Park, bumping off the San Francisco Seagulls, 4-3. Pitcher Barry Gilmore was a major reason the Wranglers emerged victorious. The win was credited to 26-year old right-handed pitcher Frank Dunn in relief. His record improves to 2-5. Dan Wood took the loss. The triumph puts Dallas at 32-20 for the season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Dallas pinch hitter Mike Shreve, facing Dan Wood, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Wranglers the 4-3 win.

"Barry did a good job of managing their lineup," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
