|
San Francisco turned a good performance from starting pitcher Arturo Lopez into a 3-2 triumph over the Seattle Emeralds in 15 innings at Mission Field. Reggie Eubanks, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0. With the win, the Seagulls sit at 28-24.
The Seagulls got a clutch hit from catcher Bill Henry. In the bottom of the 15th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Seagulls.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Seattle manager Mark Velez said, following the tough loss.
