Milwaukee Carves Out 6-4 Win
The Milwaukee Dairymen besoiled an otherwise fine performance by St. Louis center fielder Ken Osterhage by beating the Explorers, 6-4, at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium. Osterhage went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win was credited to Arnie Keilman in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Bernie Tate took the loss. The win gives the Dairymen a record of 17-36.

Milwaukee took a 6-4 lead on Bill Malstrom's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Malstrom hit in the bottom of the eighth, left St. Louis pitcher Bernie Tate visibly frustrated.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Malstrom.
