Hurons 7-2 Victors Over Atlanta
|
Toronto turned a good effort from starter Dave Hamilton into a win over the Atlanta Generals at Dominion Field. The Hurons won the game, 7-2. In 8 innings, Hamilton surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. The 6th-place Hurons now have a record of 24-32.
Steve Holley hit a run-scoring double off John Phillips in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Hurons in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Holley had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
