Burros Win with Late Rally
The Burros grabbed a win, 4-3, at Union Field, overcoming a fine effort from Chicago pitcher Skip Crawford. Crawford went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. The winner in relief was Frank Combs. He is now 5-2. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. Chicago has now lost 4 straight.

Alejandro Rebolledo, who finished 2nd in the NBL in on-base percentage with .459 in 1970, helped out the Denver cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman went 1-4 with a walk.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Chicago manager Larry Link.
