Roberson Swings Pobladores to 8-6 Win
The Los Angeles Pobladores topped the San Francisco Seagulls, 8-6, with center fielder Joe Roberson playing a big role. Roberson was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Pobladores in the win. Shane Frassrand got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. Phil Lester earned his 5th save, after closing out the game.

In the top of the eighth, the Pobladores grabbed the lead when Roberson hit his 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Arturo Lopez made it 7-4, Los Angeles.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Roberson said. "We did a good job of that today."

With the win over San Francisco, the Pobladores improved to 27-32.
