Sentner Hits 2 home runs in Burros Win
Burros left fielder Leo Sentner put his stamp on his team's 12-9 win over the New York Knickerbockers. Sentner went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for Denver in the contest. John Gannon picked up the win, lifting his record to 7-7 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 2 in 6 innings, while yielding 6 runs. The second-place Burros have won 4 straight.

With Denver leading 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth, Sentner hit a splitter from Bruce Elsner for a grand slam home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Burros ahead, 11-6.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Denver manager Clark Anderson.
