Habitants Lose Big to Hurons, 10-1
Hurons center fielder Jorge Luna put his stamp on his team's 10-1 win over the Montreal Habitants. Luna went 3-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for Toronto in the contest. Bill John got the win, improving to 2-0. He pitched 9 innings, giving up 1 hits and 1 run, while striking out 7 and walking 0. Montreal, with the loss, is still a robust 5-2.

With Toronto leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Luna hit a fastball from Oscar Rodela for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Hurons ahead, 7-0.

"We took a roundhouse punch to the chin," said losing manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon.
