Industrials Collect 6-4 Win Over Packers
Led by Rob Isenbarger, the Pittsburgh Industrials downed the Cincinnati Packers, 6-4, in 11 innings. Isenbarger went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Industrials. Pittsburgh reliever Ray Williams was the winner. His record is now 6-4. Chris Montgomery took the loss. Bob Cole earned the save, his 3rd.

Pittsburgh used the timely hitting of Garry Schon to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Industrials on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Schon told the Pittsburgh News.

The last-place Packers have lost 5 consecutive games.
