The Cincinnati Packers beat the Cleveland Bobcats, 7-5, at Roman Arena. Cincinnati third baseman Mike Clarke banged out 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. The Packers improved their record to 35-35 by beating Cleveland.

With Cincinnati leading 3-2 in the bottom of the third, Clarke hit a sinker from Myron Baird for a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Packers ahead, 5-2.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Clarke. "And not try to do too much."
