Seattle Helpless Against Perez, Lose 7-0
Tuesday, May 11th , 1976
In a seemingly effortless performance, Dario Perez of the Dallas Wranglers shot down the Seattle Emeralds, 7-0, on 4 hits.
"Dario was just locating so well and using his pitches," Dallas manager William Albrecht said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Perez recorded 9 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Seattle manager Mark Velez said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
This season, Perez has compiled a 3-3 mark, 4.12 ERA and made 6 starts.
