Doctors in Chicago said Glenn Bailey might not play anymore this year. The Hawks reliever suffered torn cartilage in his shoulder during a game against the Dallas Wranglers and will be out for at least 9-10 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

To date, Bailey has collected no saves in 6 relief appearances. He has rung up 8 strikeouts and 6 walks in 13 innings while registering a 4.85 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record.
