Williams Gets 5 Hits Tuesday, June 23rd , 1959 Toronto Hurons center fielder Ron Williams really lit up the Seattle Emeralds with a 5-hit barrage today at Puget Field -- a performance that sparked the Hurons to a 9-3 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Ron Williams hit a solo-shot off Ken Fiorentino in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
