Don Keough Gets Hit Number 2000 Sunday, April 24th , 1977 Don Keough of the Pittsburgh Industrials earned his membership in the exclusive 2000-hit club this afternoon at Monument Field. The 36-year-old left fielder got his milestone hit in the Industrials 7-5 triumph over the Washington Eagles. Keough went 3-for-4 for the game.
