Duprey Thwarts Cincinnati, 6-0
Sunday, May 4th , 1975
In a seemingly effortless performance, Billy Duprey of the Los Angeles Blockbusters shot down the Cincinnati Packers, 6-0, on 4 hits.
"Billy was just locating so well and using his pitches," Los Angeles manager John Trausch said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Duprey recorded 2 strikeouts and 4 walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Cincinnati manager Martin Abresch said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
So far this year, Duprey has compiled a 5-1 record with a 2.08 ERA.
