Patrick Pitches Gem as Seagulls Beat Chicago, 7-0 Thursday, May 5th , 1977 Jerry Patrick kept the Chicago Hawks hitters from doing much damage at Hyde Park Stadium. Chicago could only muster 6 hits and draw 1 walk against the right-handed Patrick, who controlled them throughout the game. San Francisco won the contest, 7-0. Patrick added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Patrick told reporters after the shutout win.
