DeFalco Reaches 2000 Saturday, May 29th , 1976 It was a banner day for Buck DeFalco, who collected his 2000th hit in the Chicago 7-4 win over Dallas. DeFalco went 1-for-4 in the game as both Hawks and Wranglers fans cheered DeFalco when he reached base after his hit. "It feels great to get #2000," DeFalco said afterward, "especially since we won the game."
